The 1st part details the re-birth of Ralph Parkers 1965 Split-Screen VW Camper Van
It covers such aspects of obtaining the "donor" van, the 4 years of restoration and also covers the many problems and pitfalls with their eventual resolutions.
It may include some varied technical details (interesting for some) which may be suited more to the VW enthusiast, but it is written in such a way as to explain technical details in a simple and easy to understand form.
As it is in two parts, you can skip the first section and go directly to the second if that is your want.
The 2nd part is much less technical which briefly covers the planning and then the actual road-trip from the UK, Through France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, Austria, Italy to Venice and then onwards to Greece plus, of course, the return via a different route.
